National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA): eligibility, calendar and the Bangalore colleges that admit through it

NATA is the aptitude test the Council of Architecture requires for admission to every B.Arch programme in India. In Karnataka the NATA score is combined with 10+2 marks for KEA's architecture counselling and for COMEDK's architecture stream, so a Bangalore B.Arch admission needs NATA plus one of those routes or a direct management-quota admission.
The test measures drawing, visualisation and reasoning aptitude and can be attempted more than once in a cycle, with the best score counted.
Eligibility
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate in the three subjects and 50% overall, or a three-year diploma with Mathematics with 50%.

NATA: common questions
Can I get a B.Arch seat in Bangalore without NATA?
No. A valid NATA score, or a qualifying JEE Main Paper 2 score where the college accepts it, is a Council of Architecture requirement for every B.Arch admission.
