Fee Collection Software for Colleges

Eduvy's fee collection software is a student fee management system and paperless clearing stack for Indian colleges that puts your student dues on the NPCI Bharat Connect (BBPS) network, accepts UPI, card and netbanking payments inside the Eduvy app, and reconciles every rupee into your ERP ledger. Eduvy is the technology and Biller Operating Unit connection layer: it maintains your student fee demands and feeds them into Axis Bank's BBPS BOU APIs, with Axis Bank as the licensed banking partner. Parents can then find your institution under 'Education Fees' in 400+ BBPS consumer apps — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Axis Mobile — or pay inside the Eduvy app through Easebuzz, the gateway partner.

Either route lands in the same ledger. The cash counter, the manual receipt book and the bank deposit slip stop being part of the process.

Who it is for

  • Accounts and finance offices that spend the first fortnight of every term reconciling deposit slips against a spreadsheet.
  • Colleges whose parents are scattered across states and are already paying electricity and gas bills through BBPS apps.
  • Institutions that want dues collected in instalments without chasing each family individually.
  • Principals who want a single number for collections and outstandings that is current as of the last transaction.
  • Parents and students, who get one place to pay and a receipt they can produce years later.

The payment channels

Four channels sit on one set of dues, so a family chooses how to pay without the college running four processes.

  • Bharat Connect / BBPS billing — Student dues are fed to the NPCI Bharat Bill Payment System through the Axis Bank BOU. Parents look up the institution under Education Fees in 400+ banking and UPI apps and clear the bill there; it reconciles on your ledger when the transaction clears.
  • In-app gateway checkout — Easebuzz powers UPI intents, debit and credit cards and every major netbanking option inside the Eduvy app, with automated reconciliation and a receipt generated on the payment callback.
  • eNACH auto-debit mandates — Paperless NPCI eNACH e-mandates registered once with netbanking credentials, after which scheduled instalments for tuition, hostel or mess dues debit on their due dates and post themselves to the ledger.
  • Easy EMI and NBFC loans — Families split a fee into instalments or take a zero-collateral education loan from a partner NBFC; the lender pays the college its fee upfront and collects the instalments.

What the college gets

  • Bulk fee-demand generation per batch, course and fee head, straight from the ERP's course configuration.
  • Partial and custom payments — a family pays what it can today and the ledger adjusts immediately rather than at month end.
  • Automated SMS and WhatsApp reminders for pending applications and pending dues.
  • Digitally-signed PDF receipts with bank reference IDs, stored in the student's in-app receipt vault as well as your records.
  • A fee-status checker and reconciliation view that accounts, hostel and admissions all read from the same ledger.
  • Funds settle into the institution's own designated account; Eduvy is the technology layer, never the holder of your fees.

How onboarding works

  1. Institutional review — The partnerships desk logs your catalog structure — batches, courses, fee heads and the way you currently raise demands.
  2. Fee configuration — Courses and their itemised fee heads are set up in the ERP, which is what the dues are generated from.
  3. Bank authorisation — You authorise the Axis Bank BOU connection for BBPS billing and complete the Easebuzz merchant onboarding for in-app checkout.
  4. Go live — Dues publish to the BBPS network and to the app; receipts, reminders and reconciliation start on the first payment.

What it connects to

  • The Eduvy college ERP and its fees and accounts module, which owns the ledger this writes to.
  • The Eduvy student app, where parents see dues, pay, and keep receipts.
  • Bharat Connect (BBPS) via Axis Bank as BOU, and Easebuzz as the payment gateway partner.
  • NPCI eNACH for recurring auto-debit mandates.
  • Partner NBFCs for Easy EMI plans and zero-collateral education loans.

Fee Collection Software for Colleges: common questions

Does it support BBPS / Bharat Connect?

Yes — that is the core of it. Eduvy maintains your student dues and feeds them into the NPCI Bharat Connect network through Axis Bank's BOU APIs, so parents can pay from 400+ BBPS-enabled apps including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm and BHIM under Education Fees.

Can parents pay in instalments?

Three ways: partial payments against an open due, eNACH auto-debit on a schedule you set, and Easy EMI or a zero-collateral NBFC education loan where the lender settles the college's fee upfront.

Is it NAAC and AICTE reporting ready?

Eduvy keeps fee demands, collections, receipts and outstandings in one queryable database you can export, which is the raw material accreditation reporting is compiled from. Eduvy ships no pre-approved NAAC or AICTE templates and makes no compliance certification claim — tell the team which formats your cycle needs and it will confirm what the export covers.

How is fee collection priced — is it per student?

Eduvy publishes no per-student price list. Pricing is quoted per institution after the partnerships desk reviews your catalog and the modules you want, and you get a written proposal with integration milestones before anything is signed.

Can we migrate data from our existing fee software?

Yes. Student, staff, course and fee records are brought across during the institutional review, before your platform keys are issued, so you start with your real data. Send the desk an export of what you hold and it will confirm the formats it takes.

How long does implementation take?

Onboarding is a fixed sequence — catalog review, then fee-head configuration, then the Axis BOU and Easebuzz authorisations, then go-live — mostly configuration your own staff can do once the platform keys are issued. Eduvy publishes no fixed go-live date because it depends on how much historic data you migrate and how fast your bank paperwork clears; the proposal carries a milestone plan for your campus.
