Best College ERP Software in India 2026: A Fair Comparison
By Founder, Eduvy · Published 7 Sep 2026 · Updated 8 Sep 2026 · For Colleges · Editorial policy
There is no single "best" college ERP in India, and any list that names one is selling something. A college ERP is the system of record for admissions, students, attendance, examinations, fees, hostel and staff, so the right product is the one whose strengths line up with the two or three things your campus is actually struggling with. This comparison covers nine platforms used by Indian higher-education institutions, states only what each vendor publishes on its own site, and says plainly where each one suits and where it does not.
How to judge a college ERP
Before looking at products, fix your criteria. Five questions separate a good fit from an expensive mistake.
- Module depth where you need it. "35+ modules" and "100+ modules" are marketing counts. What matters is whether the examination module handles your university's grading scheme and whether the fee module handles your instalment structure.
- Fee-collection rails. A payment gateway integration and a Bharat Connect (BBPS) biller connection are different things. One gives students a link; the other lets them pay from any bank or UPI app and reconciles centrally.
- HRMS and payroll. Many campus ERPs treat staff as an afterthought. If you want PF, ESI, PT and TDS computed from attendance, check that it exists rather than assuming it does.
- Accreditation reporting. If NAAC, NBA or NIRF reporting is a live problem, ask to see a criterion-wise export from a running instance, not a slide.
- Who uses it daily. Faculty and students abandon systems that are slow or need a laptop. The mobile app is not a bonus feature.
The comparison
Every entry below reflects what the vendor states on its own public pages as of September 2026. "Not stated" means the vendor's site does not mention it, not that the feature is absent. Ask each vendor directly.

The products in detail
Camu
Camu, from Octoze Technologies, is a cloud SIS-plus-LMS platform. It is one of the few products that treats Indian accreditation as a first-class module: its accreditation page claims auto-generation of SSR, AQAR and criterion-wise reports and annexures, and states "up to 88% compliance with NAAC and NBA requirements." It also lists attendance via biometric, QR and mobile, and says it was named a Niche Player in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Higher Education SaaS Student Information Systems. Suits: autonomous colleges and universities where an accreditation cycle is the driving pain.
Academia ERP by Serosoft
Academia is a cloud-native platform covering admissions, applications, student lifecycle, academics, examinations, attendance, fees, hostel, alumni and analytics. Serosoft's two sites disagree on the module count - academiaerp.com says "35+ modules" while serosoft.com says "40+" - which is a useful reminder to count modules in a demo rather than on a homepage. HRMS and payroll are not mentioned on its public pages. Suits: multi-campus groups and institutions with international operations; Serosoft claims customer presence in 32 countries.
MasterSoft
MasterSoft is one of the older Indian names in this space. Its own website could not be reached while researching this article - several URLs returned 404 or 403 - so the detail here comes from third-party marketplace listings. Those listings describe LMS, library, HR, biometric attendance tracking, examination management, online admissions and online fee collection, and place the company in Nagpur. Suits: colleges wanting a long-established India-focused vendor - but insist on a live demo, because public information is currently thin.
iCloudEMS
iCloudEMS, from CNV Labs in Pune, was founded in 2017 and positions itself around accreditation management and outcome-based learning, including online exams with proctoring. Its site does not mention mobile apps, hostel, library, payroll or fee-payment rails, so treat those as open questions. It claims the platform "saves upto 90% effort and time for accreditation audits." Suits: institutions whose immediate problem is OBE and audit evidence.
Fedena
Fedena, from Foradian Technologies in Bengaluru, is the one product here that publishes real prices on its own site. Its plans are Rs 50,000 + GST per year (Standard), Rs 75,000 + GST per year (Premium) and Rs 1,00,000 + GST per year (Ultimate), each billed yearly per institute with unlimited users, plus an Enterprise tier quoted on request that includes the product source code. Worth knowing: a Techjockey listing for the same three tiers shows USD figures instead, so confirm the currency and the tier contents in writing. Fedena covers admissions, examinations, attendance, timetable, fees, HR and payroll, with iOS and Android apps and biometric device integration. Accreditation reporting is not mentioned. Suits: schools and smaller colleges that want a predictable annual cost and can live without NAAC-specific tooling.
Creatrix Campus
Creatrix Campus is built around quality assurance. It lists an admissions CRM, curriculum and catalog management, examination, assessment and outcomes, student finance and billing, housing, and career and placement management, and claims support for 11 accreditation frameworks. The frameworks it names include MQA, CAA, HLC, MSCHE, ABET, NBA, the Washington Accord, AACSB, EQUIS and CBME - NAAC is not among the named frameworks on that page, which matters for most Indian colleges. LMS and library are not mentioned. Suits: institutions pursuing international accreditation, or Indian campuses with foreign-university tie-ups.
TCS iON
TCS iON's Digital Campus has the broadest module list of the nine: application and admission, fee, attendance, timetable, discipline, feedback, the full examination chain (planning, hall ticket, registration, score capture, result and promotion), library, hostel, transport, HR, payroll, finance and accounts, and procurement and inventory. TCS iON states that institutions can manage NBA, NAAC and MIS compliance and generate reports including for NIRF. Suits: large universities and government institutions that want a single vendor with examination scale and can absorb a long procurement cycle.
Jupsoft
Jupsoft Technologies offers a cloud college management platform with admissions, examination and assessment, attendance, LMS, digital library, fee management, payroll and HR, hostel and multi-campus support, plus AI-assisted test generation. It states that pricing is "completely based on the number of students, needed features/modules and level of customization." Accreditation support is not mentioned. Suits: colleges wanting LMS and ERP from one vendor at a negotiated per-student price.
Eduvy
Being fair about our own product matters more than being flattering. Eduvy's College ERP claims 35+ modules and publicly names six: admission management, student management, fees and accounts, hostel, course management and timetables, and inventory and facilities. We do not publish an examination, LMS or library module, and we do not publish accreditation reporting. If those are your priority, Camu, TCS iON or Creatrix Campus are the more honest answer.
Two things are genuinely different. First, fee collection runs on the NPCI Bharat Connect (BBPS) network through an Axis Bank Biller Operating Unit connection, so students pay from their own banking and UPI apps rather than a college-specific link, with digitally-signed PDF receipts carrying bank reference IDs, eNACH auto-debit for instalments, and card, netbanking and NBFC EMI options via Easebuzz. Second, admissions are fed by the Eduvy student app: an application arrives as a structured record with documents attached, and on enrolment the same record becomes the student profile, ID card, timetable and fee ledger. The Eduvy HRMS is a separate but integrated product with camera-based multi-face attendance and PF, ESI, PT and TDS payroll. Eduvy is a DPIIT-recognised Startup India company founded in October 2021 and based in Bengaluru. Suits: private colleges whose bottlenecks are enquiry-to-admission conversion and fee collection and reconciliation.
A pre-signature checklist
| Ask the vendor | What a good answer looks like |
|---|---|
| Show a fee receipt and a day-end reconciliation from a live instance | Screen-share of a real tenant, not a slide deck |
| Which modules are included at the quoted price? | A written module list attached to the quote |
| What does data migration from our current system cost? | A fixed one-time figure with a defined data scope |
| Who owns our data and how do we export it if we leave? | Full export in open formats, named in the contract |
| What is the annual escalation after year one? | A capped percentage, in writing |
| Can our university's exact attendance and grading rules be configured? | Demonstrated against your own regulations before signing |
| What are the SLA and support hours during admission season? | Named response times, not "24/7 support" as a slogan |
Frequently asked questions
Which college ERP is best for a small private college in Karnataka?
If cost predictability matters most, Fedena is the only vendor here publishing fixed annual per-institute pricing on its own site. If admissions conversion and fee collection are the pain, app-fed admissions and a Bharat Connect biller setup matter more than module count. If a NAAC cycle is imminent, prioritise Camu or TCS iON.
Does module count matter?
Not much. Counts across these vendors range from "30+" to "100+" and each computes them differently - one vendor's own two websites disagree with each other. Judge depth in the three or four modules you will use daily.
Cloud or on-premise?
Most of these products are cloud-only. Fedena's pricing page is the one that references source code, in its Enterprise tier, and marketplace listings describe on-premise options for some others. On-premise shifts server, backup, patching and security costs to your IT team.
Will an ERP produce our NAAC and AICTE reports automatically?
Only if the underlying records are complete and entered on time. Camu, TCS iON and MasterSoft state accreditation reporting; Fedena and Jupsoft do not. Even with the right module, the data validation stage will ask for source documents the ERP must already hold.
How is BBPS different from a payment gateway?
A gateway processes a card or UPI payment initiated on your page or link. Bharat Connect makes the college a biller on a national network, so a parent can find and pay the fee from their own bank or UPI app, and payments reconcile against the biller record centrally.
